How are your workloads? I’m drowning pretty much everyday and my mgr suggest calling EAP to help SMH

If you havent noticed lately, there have been multiple layoffs at Staple Canada. I was packaged out in Nov/2020. Many layoffs since mine. They are shedding full time salaries in favour of low cost freelancers. Making the books look good for a potential buyer. Fear...stress...insecurity is all part of their plan. They WANT you to leave...dont...stick it out and do your job to a minimum. Make them package you out. They will offer you 33 weeks...do not sign anything. Hire a lawyer. You'll be glad you did. And relax...if its your time, there is nothing you can do about it. Make them pay.
Life is too short be be stressed because of working for a poorly run company like Staples. To be honest, the job market is good and I would leave for greener pastures. The thought of leaving can be stressful, but please start the process and explore some new opportunities for your own well being! You will look back and wonder why you did leave earlier! Staples is no longer worth your investment!
So many changes at SBA Canada – is the org structure finalized now? Or are there more changes still to come? Pretty stressful at the moment.
Always stressed. The team I’m a part of, like many others, used to be 3–4x the size but we are now required to deliver more with poor systems and some terrible partners. Eagerly planning my exit and can’t wait for the day this place is behind me.
is it just SBA canada that is reporting to staples canada or all SBA including SBA north america.
I left at the end of summer last year but still curious of what is happening
Super stressed, managers just keep wanting more and more. Scared to take a sick day. Now SBA is reporting to Staples Canada, I hope something changes positive soon.
