Thread regarding Frontier Communications Corp. layoffs

The potential of this company

Some here think that this company has potential, so I would like someone to explain to me how I can see that potential of Frontier??? I wouldn’t like to sound like Debbie Downer but I don’t see that potential anywhere and that’s the biggest reason I’m getting ready to go from here. Even if a company has potential, there are no leaders who know how to use it.

lol no this is completely wrong. There is NO potential for FTR. This has been proven time and time again so please stop beating the same drum. Companies like VZ have potential as they keep their ear to the ground and pay attention to things like 5G, the same technology that FTR said will be no big deal. It's not only people at the top, this company is a failure from the ground up. Techs failing to meet appointment times, sleeping in their truck, the union demanding more for useless employees that bled the company dry, supervisors have no power over union employees to enforce any kind of punishments for poor performance, managers are not listened to by the top executives, and the executives are taking bonuses while the company files bankruptcy paperwork. This whole company is a complete waste and serves zero value to any competitors in the industry. Starlink will be available to consumers by end of 2021, FTR will still be trying to get government money to extend copper and offer 12Mbps service. This does not have to be everyones personal experience to not be accurate and true, this company has no value even from a shareholder perspective and that is why it is in the position its in now. Send out that resume and jump ship, you should have done so over a year ago.

The company has plenty of potential and opportunities. We offer some of the best services in the market. They are unfortunately poorly executed by those at the top. We have some of the best talent in the company trying to help customers. Unfortunately we have no real leadership to provide processes and direction so we end up providing abysmal customer service and we lose customers. Again this is because of leadership at the top. I have the hope to keep a career here but I am also realistic to realize I need look into redoing some of my certs and keeping my resume up to date just in case. I also want to explore other side businesses or hustles just in case as well as some different investment ideas.
TLDR, I like my job. I like my supervisors, I like (most) of my coworkers but I think it's wise to not have all my eggs in one basket like I have been for years.
