Gas Power is a moribund business now. Most North American new unit orders have been cancelled, so only spare rotors and ancillary hardware are being built now. Lord Biden has decreed no more natural gas power by 2035, so power generating companies are already pulling the plug on adding more

Greenville has pivoted to making spare parts, including buckets and nozzles, and making full turbines for export to countries that plan to continue using natural gas to make electricity for now. But it will not be enough work to carry the facility for the long term. The local economic impact of this facility declining and eventually closing will be significant.

It's getting harder and harder to cook the books for investors. Come on accountants, do your creative accounting magic. Make the books look amazing for our poor leaders. They need huge amounts of bonus money before they exit this dump.

Correct. The past was just a bunch of financial engineering which they have run out of rabbits to pull. No more offices left to close, T&L to cut, corp taxes increase on the horizon, core businesses with no growth, interest rates increase on plenty of debt in 2022....
