As we move to more automated systems they will be having more layoffs! Thursday is the favorite day BUT they will be weeding some out. IF you have worked for the company a long time then YOU are a target! I've had over a dozen friends (coworkers) who were laid off. They took the severance as hush money. The leadership doesn't have the fortitude to actually grow this company.

Our team is totally being shutout of the new system being implemented now. I have to laugh because when you work anywhere in UHG you HAVE to have a backup plan and a 2d job due to the uncertainties. It's NEVER a matter of IF, it's a matter of WHEN. Don't care anymore. Peace Out!
They hired new OGS (offshore) teams to work clinical quality and the system is set to go live in June. So you can expect that there will be some layoffs VERY soon.
I heard more comments about training OGS (offshore) to work clinical's new system. If they don't lay off the US workers in June then they will slowly start it in July and Aug. No one is safe.
We automated our area and hired offshore so I'm using all my PTO and I'm start filling out my unemployment. This will be a nice summer looking for a fresh start! Beautiful day!!
You have to love the HR trolls on this site. If you have to ask then "we know who you are" hahaha. Just because the "good'ol boy" hired you back after you were laid off doesn't mean you're safe. They have excluded you from the planning of this new system for a reason. Ethics.
Do you know which departments specifically?
It was confirmed this morning in a meeting that the offshore was hired, trained and currently working the new system. The VP's assistant has them working directly under them and slowly jobs are being turned over. June 28 will be the layoff day.
June 1 they rolled out the new automated system, they hired offshore workers and they are already working in the new system. I've already seen meetings deleted from my calendar that others are still in. I've already started my own business so I'm just doing what I'm told to get by. I would NEVER refer anyone to this he-l ho-e! Go to another health place but NOT here. Peace Out!
There is a toxic battle going on due to the new system roll out. They have hired the offshore team to handle any manual work so the USA employees will be laid off OR informed that their position is no longer required aka terminated. This place is a toxic septic sewer system. I will NEVER recommend this he-l ho-e to anyone. Collecting unemployment will be sheer bliss!
The pot is thickening. There is a mole in the group who loves to stir the drama pot... why? Because they truly have no life, Karma will fix that. Please lay me off when you lay off my team. Some of them have already been laid off so they are use to it. 😁
It's really pathetic when you have a newly promoted manager who waits until you show them how to build and implement a new business strategy and THEN they take it over like THEY thought of it. Definitely NOT grade 28 material and NOT qualified to be a manager. You were recruited from a bar! LMFAO
They will be laying more off in June/July. That is why they are hiring new victims to suck the life out of them. It's not called "burnout" when they can discard you like trash... the older you are and longer you've been at the company pretty much sums it up who the next target is.
