Heard rumors of small layoffs in May, as they push more work to vendors.

There are layoffs happening today. Not sure of the scope, but definitely some mid-level management.
Greetings,
Layoffs are an important part of every business. Like trimming branches from a tree so that the roots will stay strong eliminating those who do not fully embrace our ethos and are not suited to becoming disrupters is a necessary undertaking.
"The layoffs have been ongoing and in in small groups so it stays quiet. Content managers, qa, digital production and operations teams have each fired batches of people. The emails just go out to the immediate team (if at all)."
Awesome transparency. Great leadership.

Spickolee speaks truth.
I can guarantee you that the next round of layoffs will be an unmitigated success!
Before the age of the interwebbs which is nothing but a series of tubes if you will, the courtesans of old would tr––p through the hallways of these wretched schools and offer themselves as the grand prize if the old filthers would adopt their books. In olden times when the old filthers adopt, it meant they adopted the courtesans ba––––d children and then educate them in the classical sense, now it means after a few bouts of or–l pleasuring the filthers would adopt a book, not a baby. Now in contemporary times, it all comes down to how the software functions and the price of the entire package and be aware that software is not a euphemism for the state of the courtesan's knees.
Aw man. An IPS post got deleted before I could read it?
The jannies on this site suck, whenever someone posts the facts it gets censored.
@axw+1anUguaU IPS it’s good to hear your voice!
@4lys+1anUguaU Reps on campus gave lazy people who lucked into a good year or two to become managers, where they could do absolutely nothing except boss their minions around while filling their weeks in with zero value-added busy work. As a whole, and its not even close, the least talented , annoying and lazy people went into sales management.
Reps on campus was the only oppty the cengage courtesan class could engage in the obvious and tedious manipulation required to close a deal. Now it all comes down to price and basic functionality, areas where cengage will always be challenged without a manipulator to exact a decision
@1jxa+1anUguaU. This is a guarantee. Other than small cuts, there is nowhere to achieve meaningful savings outside of taking the axe to sales. The sales side of things, where reps marched around campus was always such an inefficient way to work.
Sales consolidation next, inside sales expansion, account reps fired those remaining take on more responsibility for same pay worthless dms charged with distributing propaganda per usual
They laid off content managers and quality control this month and last month too.
You heard wrong troll! You got fired–GET OVER IT! Post something constructive or don’t post at all. Some of us are still working here and we wouldn’t be here if we had other options. What is your end game in posting c––p, you think your going to destabilize the company by getting people scared. Trust me– WE ARE ALREADY THERE and don’t need you for that. Some of us come here to try to get an idea of what’s going on, cause we won’t know until we get that meeting request from HR. Go get a hobby. Life moves on, so should you!
