Nothing will be different this quarter, next quarter....
They will sell the company off in pieces or let things hang around until they finally d-e off. They will not invest in employees, and true believers will continue to work too much at the expense of their personal and family life.
Remember that there are hundreds (thousands?) who are trying to figure out the next step. Don't mourn the past. Move on, retire, or take some time off before the next job.
