Good luck to all my brothers and sisters, Palestine closes in 60 days or less

I am so sorry to hear this news. I came to work for UP 28 years ago and was proud to work here. Now I am ashamed of what this company had become. The company leadership and board of directors care absolutely nothing for the employees of this company (this includes the middle and lower level managers who they hate). The company leadership acts like everyone is their enemy and they have to destroy them. I will be leaving soon to retirement. I hoped to work longer, but now cannot wait to leave. I feel for those stuck here or those that are too close to retirement to leave. If you can find other employment that pays comparably I would suggest leaving. UP will never go back to the way it was previously ran and I believe it will continue to get worse for the remaining employees. Good luck.
Very sorry for you all, not the same people I came to work for 26 years ago. UP’s loss is someone else’s gain.
Must be nice to get a 60 day heads up! Most shops got shutdown right as they told us
At least 60

After everyone in Palestine is laid off are they still invited for family day?
Burn it to the ground on the way out. Our forefathers did it. Read about some of their strikes. If enough got together maybe someone would pay attention or do something
But nobody will. So it's pointless to talk about
Dovetail to the unemployment line.
Man that’s terrible. You guys get dovetails at least?
