Central Fill employees repeatedly injured as a result of little time no safety standards

Employees at central fill (central pharmacy) are repeatedly injured by equipment that has little to no safety guards. This has resulted into at least one bone fracture and countless other injuries. The caveat being that management encourages workers to fetch items from these machines.

Employees have missed work as a result (further angering management) and some have even quit due to concerns with this and overall disgust.

Truthfully it doesn’t matter if we complain in words at meetings or surveys, it always re—s internal and retaliation by management isn’t uncommon

Of course GE would cut safety standards-they would have to pay money they’re not willing to spend to fix it. It’s not only a pharmacy warehouse issue they’ve been lax on rectifying safety issues. It’s inside of stores too and anyone that reports safety issues are either removed from that store for complaining to state regulators or mysteriously terminated. They don’t want to spend the money fixing anything. Welcome to the club!

This company doesn’t get it.. They are no longer relevant to people who are looking for jobs. They have based the company off of low wages and poor management for the last 30+ years and now it’s started to show with no one applying to work for them
