Whose idea was it to put a the Kmart inside the Sears store in NY?

It was Randall Adresan. You brainlets won't understand this but it did increase sells by over $1 million. It was a good idea. Better then the letting the space sit empty.
My guess it was probably a "store within a store" concept idea that never took off.
I think the Hometown stores should sell fresh popcorn as well..........for old times sake smell, ya know?

I think Kmarts should be placed in all Sears stores including Hometown stores. Every store should including an Icee Machine.

I confess. I came up with this idea. At the time, it seemed like a great idea, but I had no clue that the collapse of both of these companies would make it impossible to keep track of exactly how many Sears stores and Kmart stores would be open until all of them were eventually liquidated. I hope you accept my sincere apologies!!!
