Was wondering how it's going with NCR at the start of their 3rd year? When we were contracted out at MST we were told it would be faster and better service so how's that "business" decision going?

Probably not well but it was the best thing Macy's ever did for me. I could care less how cr—y the systems are running now or how many more stores close. I got a nice severance and a better job that pays more money. NCR did not even offer to pay me what Macy's did. Why any tech would have taken less money to do more work is beyond me? Good Luck!! Shame ... Macy's!!
Our guy in Tennessee has several stores he oversees, so he travels around. He has been around for years, he does a really good job.
It went really well for the first year because we had a tech who was extraordinary. He quit, and the one who replaced him is struggling. Closes tickets too soon, thinks resetting something is repairing the problem, when it's usually a hardware replacement needed. We have to be completely and very specific with our tickets. It's ok, we are surviving. And work is getting done faster that every two weeks.
Like everything else at Macy's, it's going to he!! in a hand basket.
