North platte machinist recalls?

Anyone heard when thy might call us machinist back to work. Is shop still busy? Are many still retiring so thy can call back? Are layoffs finally over.l?

We have alot of guys retiring, so get ready for the callbacks. We are so busy n overloaded with overtime. Time to buy the new boat! Just in time.

No. Bringing machinists back would indicate they actually want to maintain/repair locomotives. That adds to dwell time. The prevailing attitude is that every loco should have an RX for "Company Maintenance Past Due".
