I’ve been with the company for about 5 years and I’m looking at a few open positions to apply to here. Does anyone know if the entire application process is the same for internal candidates as for external ones? I live in a state where recreational ma------a is legal and I would like to know if I should be prepared to take a dr-g test if I accept an offer for a new job within the company. I believe all employees are subjected to background checks on an annual basis, but I’m curious if they also require dr-g testing for simply moving to a new role in the company (these would be non-clinical and not subject to the UHG random screening policy).

Upstate NY lay offs are happening. CORS, agent managers, internal reps be careful
Agree with the previous posts initially when joining the company. Yes. Internal moves, No.
You won’t be tested again for internal transfers, had the same question for same reason but was not tested again after transfer.
I don't think you'd be subjected to any dr-g screening. I have moved to 5 different roles (non-clinical) in UHG, last one as recently as January of this year and have never been dr-g screened for internal moves.
