a lot of the features on the Commscope CPE modems either don't work or are disabled?
Is that poor testing or intentional?

Isn't it true that Commscope gives their routers away for 0.78 cents each?
CPE teams have skeletal teams (at best) and have been working that way for years, yet they're still expected to deliver a full feature set for ARRIS/CommScope and customer-branded releases. Ridiculous!
One customer (starts with a V) tried to manufacture their own CPE products and brought the work back to ARRIS when they discovered how detailed and costly the development/manufacturing process is for those products. Why is CommScope still giving the product away? Who's the competition and why can't CommScope charge for the full value of employee knowledge and hard work, and the products they produce?
Why did ARRIS / CommScope not track licensing for other customers (starts with C or Xf) and allowed them to get away with deploying more software licenses than were paid for? That same "customer" rolls out ARRIS-developed products and reverse engineers software to produce their own products in house. It's not just APAC stealing IP.
Why did ARRIS not sell real estate? That's the dumbest business decision made (or not made).
Now CommScope has discovered how hard employees work when remote. Surely they'll implement flex hours, Internet reimbursement, and other perks to make up for the fact that there is no work/home separation? I wouldn't hold my breath.
Login to hour Home router. If it says Arris, Commscope and check if you can block traffic firewall? Turn on night time filters? Other broken features?
Both. Very irritating.
Yes.
