To start, you need to believe in “woke culture”! Second, you need to be part of this inclusion bs that’s being forced down our throat. Lastly, you need to be part of the “click” or move your family to some other area of the country to be a planner.
Don’t get me wrong I believe in equal opportunity but this stuff being forced down my throat has me applying elsewhere. I personally believe being promoted is a horrible idea because you will get a little more money and a ton of new responsibilities.with that said if you’re looking for a promotion to put on your resume so you can leave it makes sense, but now that your job isn’t secure and the pay won’t match that pain in the a-s, I wouldn’t worry about it.
Now if you’re being promoted to a position with stock options I would jump on it. Emerson will advertise it internally when the executives are taking a pay cut from their mid to high 6 figure salaries like we should thank them, but don’t let it fool you considering they get stock options and country club memberships. Us little guys depend on our raises, but worrying about that doesn’t matter to emerson.
