Thread regarding Sears layoffs

The Chicag Ridge Sears has been liquidating for several weeks already.

One of the jobs listed for Chicago Ridge is "fixture removal". That is something you do at the end of a liquidation.

Someone said that Chicago Ridge, IL is an old listing from February.

If it's so old then why is there a new job listing up as of yesterday? Sounds to me they are just beginning liquidation.

LP is aware of all pending closings and Hamilton MT is not one of them.

Chicago Ridge is an old listing from February! There is no evidence of Hamilton, MT or Marshall, MI on SB360 or the jobs board!

There is zero proof of Hamilton, because it is NOT closing now. It will probably be among the last to close, along with Guam, likely not until well after 2021. So quit hanging on waiting for this store now, it ain't happening yet.

While Hamilton would be quite unsurprising, I don't see it listed at either sb360.com or jobs.sears.com . Where did you find out that it might close?

NO we don't "HAVE" anything. Hamilton MT is NOT proven to be closing SO STOP POSTING MISINFORMATION in this absolute fail of a thread. THERE IS NOT 1 SINGLE additional closing announced yet. Not even one! Stop misleading people.
