Their not being paid, their just incompetent. As someone else said, they are a mfg company. They think they can do anything, but fail to admit they can’t and are to cheap to pay for the expertise bc it takes money from their pocket.
The place started crashing with the BNS acquisition. The ego driven c-suite gave themselves a 20% increase Bc other companies of that size made X amount. I’m sure they did the same with Arris. What fools....
CommScope only understands manufacturing - not software, solutions, or non-hourly employees. They nickle and dime everything and everyone (except c-suite). I'm sure there's some huge write off for Carlyle after they kill it all.
Commscope said that they wanted Ruckus' cloud very badly. And then they promptly fired everyone. Basically there is nobody left from the original cloud team. I've never seen a company destroy themselves faster.
I would not recommend buying Ruckus cloud right now. Some customers didn't like the issues and security. It's held together with Band aids. Some customers like G00*** (something like that (wink) ;) thought SmartZone might be a safe bet. But SmartZone isn't the answer either. Both are totally hosed now.
Or Carlyle Group will figure out they totally messed up this time and cut their losses. E.g. they will break up the company into fragments and sell off whatever they can to recoup the investment. Basically what Brocade did when Broadcom acquired them. In the long run, none of the employees did well after the Broadcom sale.
If I didn’t know any better, I’d say that CommScope execs are being paid by Ruckus competitors to F this up.
And CommScope still doesn't understand the value of the institutional memory/Intellectual Property that Ruckus employees represent. They are going to wake up and realize that they bought a billion dollar empty bag because they dumped everything with value out on the curb.
