Frontier’s bankruptcy plan will give four investment firms — Elliott Management, Franklin Mutual, Golden Tree Asset Management, and HG Vora, effective control over Frontier. The four are reportedly behind the decision to install Jeffery as Frontier’s new CEO to protect their financial interests.

Well men it's been real it's been fun but it hasnt been worth the union dues. I stopped 10yrs ago. Since then I've had 2 promotions. What I can say is when stewards and upper echelons of the hall defend themselves or lower ranking union officials dedicate a solid page on what the union has done for you is a DEAR JOHN. The fact they would defend one another on the net with union letter head is a slap in the face to all paying members. The focus should never shift to one person as we are a collective and WE SHOULD ALWAYS BE INFORMED AS ONE. Not at any time should a sign of weakness be displayed for all to see. A strong leadership runs full throttle until it's over then we are debriefed as to what and where are weaknesses will be. No direction from the hall reaching out to other nationals or locals. Start asking questions and if not answered we move as a collective to move the union leadership aside. Move as one the show company there still good techs out in the field. It's a long road to paver over the mess the hall left.

"We stuck wit them through bankruptcy and covid"

lol because you needed a paycheck. Bankruptcy is partially due to overpaid labor which is why they will not renew the contracts. Union labor is just as d–b as your given credit for. Let the boys with the degrees doing the big math and handle the decisions while you twist a screwdriver.

Hope you and the boys saved up your dues, gonna be a lot of unhappy members when they arent collecting their checks while they hold a sign in the rain. Might wanna pick up an application from the Checkers on MLK.

Me and every other person I know voted to strike.

Frontier needs to do the right thing. We stuck with them through bankruptcy and Covid.

Hopefully they surprise us soon and start to do the right thing for us Florida employees who did the best we could under the oppressive failing leadership we were left with. We could have fixed the problems and avoided bankruptcy, but they didn't listen.

Stay strong everyone. Vote to strike.

The employees with less seniority will get hosed, as usual. The more “senior” guys, will continue to sleep in their vans, CO, or under a tree. Too bad they can’t get their lump sum, have fun with the annuity, while it last.

Just posturing by the union. They’ll save they’re own skin and the skin of worthless senior employees to tell the rest “see, we did everything we could “ IBEW/CWA worthless as used toilet paper being flushed down the toilet

We are seeing jobs being outsourced.

We have dinosaur seniors grieving their way into jobs they would never qualify for if actually tested.

And now we are possibly going without pay through the summer because union leadership would rather protect the seniors instead of trying to help the junior members keep a job here.

Where is the pledge union leadership will also forgo a paycheck with the rest of us?

They have no leverage because a strike by workers that the company doesn’t want to begin with is pointless. The company can just lock them out.

If you don't vote for Strike then that leaves the biggest bargaining leverage the Union has during contract negotiations off the table. It is only a vote to strike if they have to, doesn't mean a strike is inevitable. There is alot of misinformation on this board from scabs and management.

Perhaps the Hall Leadership can take a pledge that they will go without pay during any sort of Strike to show solidarity with the members?

Does anyone see the pattern in geographic areas where contractors are being placed. Pay very close attention. Co-Op work centers and attritioned work force. Reduction of techs replaced with contractors. Seniors will be bought out. The rest will stay in place. Contractors to backfill senior/retirement techs. Low seniority pay attention. To the people who are looking at this board and thinking about voting No on the strike. Realized your job is not safe if you vote no.

The company has no desire to keep you and once they realize you are to scared to stop working they know they can cut your wages, healthcare, and make you work even more than you are working now because they know you are stuck

Strike or no strike, Frontier has had 4+ years to make plans and is using that "quality contract" against an already weak union! If the ballot arrives on time (Mailed via USPS on Monday 4/5) I will vote NO because of lack of faith and trust in the union leadership. Good luck to all
