I propose we use the title "Senior Technical Specialist" to identify who the more alpha technical specialist is in the case where there are two subject matter experts working on the same technology in the same department.

I only mention b/c I was clearly a more experienced person but had to share the same title with someone fat less experienced.
A close friend told me that it was b/c my glasses were out of style and bent. How petty. This place is like high school.
I am not sure I agree. I don't see how a title adds value to the role.
