My manager won't say anything, but everyone is talking about layoffs tomorrow. Anyone know which groups will be affected?

Internal Audit group was eliminated as of 3/31
Arris was an accessory anyway. Ruckus was the reason CommScope bought them in the first place. Probably just finally getting around to cleaning the Arris house is all.

Ruckus is a has been.. I think the only reason we got the first hotel contract was because some.
id–t turned on the de-auth feature ( on a Cisco WLAN controller and brought an FCC fine to the hotel ). That scared a LOT of people in the hotel business. And we got a few contracts in hospitality, out of it.
Good luck everyone. Commscope is a hardware company and they bought a cloud company and already laid off the cloud team.
It's all being held together by an offshore team now. There is no more innovation and intellectual property. Many of the employees went to Meraki ( who now offers LTE cloud, along with access points, cameras, phones, switches, and more ).

But those days are over. Cisco's Meraki has far surpassed Ruckus. Commscope still doesn't get that.
I think Commscope was upset that Arris outbid them for Ruckus and made them pay more than what it was worth.
Management is sometimes too smart for their own good.
