I'm in Virginia. I was told today as of Friday the technicians will no longer be administering the covid-19 shots. Pharmacists will take that over again. I don't know why the change. Does that mean Pharmacy techs will still get their$1000 bonuses in the fall?

The question is not of the tech will get the extra stipen, but who is going to verify the scripts while the pharmacist is tied up for the entire shift doing shots.... only 12 shots an hour is one every 5 minutes.... it’s not even save to stage or draw up more than- vial at a time due to short expiration of the dr-g..... what a mess or company has become.
