Has anyone had an exit interview after they give notice?

I did, but it was a check the box exercise and my HR person was not engaged nor really cared about my thoughts. Wake-up! You just hired a culture person. I was a hi-p-t and not once was I asked what would it would take to stay. In fact, my manager asked if my notice was extendable past two weeks.
I did… and echo everything the previous person wrote.

I did. Pretty standard at my division. I was so fed up with the company that I was considering telling HR no thanks. However I played nice.
Here is some advice:
Do not use the exit interview as an opportunity to air out grievances. If they had cared they would listed to you along the way and it never results in any action being taken.
I just spoke in generalities and said I needed a change, and praised my manager.
Also the interview is not to get feedback but to cover their a– and find out if you might sue them, and to remind you not to take any confidential information.
