Red Hat with Hybrid cloud is not cutting the mustard.
No name cloud companies are now leading IBM. That tells me Red Hat has not made much difference.
Enterprise is nothing but a buzz word. Show me the money!

I'd think most major corporations would be increasing Security - twice or three-fold.
More cameras, more scanners, more monitoring of employee movements/conversations.
Less Security? That's crazy talk.

This is nothing more than the restructuring plan being executed. IBM is replacing everything legacy IBM with Redhat and focusing it into where IBM plays well (Enterprise). If you don’t play on enterprise accounts, or have a strategy to adopt Redhat offerings into your skill set, you will not be working for IBM much longer. NOTE IBM’s internal restructuring time line is GTS exits Sept 1, along with GBS and Cognitive being Hybrid ready (that means rightsized to 60% of where they were on Nov 1 2020) Sept 1. IBM would like those timelines to happen sooner, but there is an executive restructuring that has to happen before Sept that will surprise a lot of folks. IBM will emerge more closely aligned as GBS (consulting and application modernization), and Cognitive (Hybrid Cloud, Redhat, and AI) As the borg say, “you will be assimilated” or disposed of. That 4 billion of restructuring in 2021, 1 billion in 2022, and carryover of 250 million from 2020 is burning a hole in IBM’s pocket and the bean counters want to spend it sooner, not later.
