The issue of staying in this company is ultimately a matter of self respect. That's how it is nowadays. It used to be different and there were better people and a better atmosphere. It is becoming increasingly clear to me that those old times will not return, so I am a bit nostalgic. What were the golden years here for you?

The best years were when the three owners were running the company and we had different management. In those times the financial department was to simply count the money that was made and had little to do with operations of the company. In those days the company was ran by engineers and advanced tbrough great products and services and vertical integration was a benefit and an advantage. Todays management team is solely focused on the financials and is clueless on operations and manufacturing and sees vertical integration as a curse. Until these guys are shown the door DQ will continue to devolve and lose money
When the 1st round of pay offs where announced at the end of 2015 is when it started to go t*ts up. People stopped looking out for eachother and the real snakery began. Also the department I worked in went downhill when management persisted on hiring staff with little to no experience, and without certain licences that prevented them from being able to fulfill the job description, in turn taking others away from their tasks. Anyway the fact of the matter is the place wouldn't be in crisis if Arty never retired!
