Who else at TD works insane hours, is constantly worried about the next RIF and just can’t anymore? I’ve been interviewing but no offers. I suspect the stress from my current role comes through in my voice and face. There are days I’m bordering on suicidal from my job and being expected to pick up everyone else’s slack.

Only you are in control of your own hours. Do the allocated time and not a minute more as you're not getting paid extra. You may as well walk down the strete and throw money into the air if you're that generous. All these people complaining about working long hours need to take a step outside, breath in and re-assess how they do their jobs
2gix must be next on the next RIF list or a receptionist.
I don’t get what you cucks are on about. I work a regular 40 hour week and when I’m done for the day, that’s it. If you let your boss bully you, that’s your problem.
@OP+1aV576vU - The never ending hamster wheel is legendary at TD, especially if you're in Marketing. If you're pushed that much to the edge, go to HR, you have a right to take personal time for your health.
I don't know how long you've been interviewing but you are likely underestimating how long it can take for the next job. I've seen a rule of thumb that states to expect 1mo for every 10k of salary YOU DESERVE (as opposed to what Teradata is paying you). If you are an SSE (who should be at 110k according to the industry), then don't be surprised if it takes you a year to find the next, suitable and appropriate position. If you are an SEM (who should be at 140-150 per the industry) then I would expect roughly the same, maybe even a little longer.
My manager lies to all of us and we all see it and talk amongst the team about it. That is actually a good thing that we all recognize it. There are some teams that are not as lucky to see it though.

It's just a job .. there are other ones out there. The more you give .. the more they will take. Give yourself the space that you need. Set boundaries and take care of yourself.
You can recover from being laid off, but you can't recover from being dead. Please take a break.
