Within the last 12 months we’ve lost so many coworkers. They’ve either moved onto something better or they’ve been laid off. The terrible part is most of the new hires I’ve worked with do not have any retail experience, nor do they show any drive or they don’t last for more than a week. The ones that stay make me feel like I am busy babysitting because majority of them will not take any initiative. Sometimes I feel like they need to be led by the hand - and these are adults. Lord, help us all.

Because they don’t want you back. If they did, they would have reached out to you the minute they had an opening. There are so many openings in so many stores a right now. And I can say, we are not calling back one person that was let go. I mean it is what it is. Glad you are employed at another location.
I was laid off and rehired at a different store. Why can’t they call back the laid off people. They might come back.
