Does anyone have any real insight? The union and lower level ops leaders know there is one coming but when is the unknown. Some rumors and strongly believe the 3rd Quarter of at least 100 out the door. It would be nice to get the summer off with pay.

Stop feeding the BS, worry about working each day and taking care of you. There wont be any reductions in 2021 in Schenectady NY, 2022 could be a much different story. The more people stir the rumor mill, the less work that gets done, which proves there is no worth in keeping work in house anymore!! You are your own failure, no one can complain when they do cut, when they are not working each and every day. Years of union pushing less actual work for more pay, is coming home to roost. There isn't changing that mentality around here, and thats a fact.
If you want job security while working for GE...move to Mexico...hear they are getting plenty of GE work.
