Thread regarding Marathon Petroleum layoffs

Pssst..Hennigan… Hennigan…you awake?

Does this guy exist? You’d think during an unprecedented global crisis, layoffs, worst downturn in refining history the CEO would communicate with the organization. Say what you want about Hemminger, at least he appeared human.

Oh, and buckle your seat belts. Now that we don’t have an integrated retail system, we’re about to find out how bad the refining business really is!

Why would they want to live in Findlay? it just makes the likely move out of Findlay, once the tax breaks are gone, it would make it harder for them to pull the trigger if their wives, side pieces, and kids had friends in Town (not out of sympathy, they’d just get sick of hearing about how their decision put the wife’s friend out of work)

Wall Street has what they wanted now - people with the right degrees, who would sell their own mothers for a $.05 increase in the stock price.

Captain Obvious,

The supply agreement between Marathon and 7-Eleven has been public knowledge for months and months. Your inside connection is amazing!

Heard from some insider that even though they sold Speedway, for the next 10 years Speedway has to buy gas and diesel from Marathon as per the deal signed.

Yeah, I used to see or interact with the executive team all the time. This new crew seem AWOL. Not too surprised given most of them won’t even live in HQ Findlay .
