Thread regarding Sears layoffs

What is left in Hoffman Estates Corporate?

What is left in Hoffman Estates Corporate and how many people are left working there? When I started in 1999 we had about 7,500 but when I got ejected in 2019 there couldn’t have been more that 500 on a given day. Did they ever consolidate into one building or at least close many of the others? I’d suspect the cafeteria is closed too now. When I first started I had a hard time finding a parking space at 7:00am but when I left was able to park in the front row of the visitors lot.

Factory Services moved in the building. The team managers, techs along with the racist as----e RS is there also.
From what I’ve heard the building is empty and a few Sears employees are working from home but I believe allot have been laid off .

Did Chicago Ridge move to Hoffman Estates? Is that why no one will answer the phone at Chicago Ridge?

"""Drove past yesterday. 3 cars in the entire lot."""

You should have looked in the parking garages. They are full. LP is there, hard at work as usual.

Is the waterfall still working? And the escalators, are they still running? I heard a few rumors that Home Services might be going back to that empty shell after Labor Day.

They reopened the smoking lounges in the 2 garages complete with large screen TV panels for viewing of the closed-circuit cameras within the Chicago Ridge store. Inquiring minds want to see if that store is open.

The Dog Run in the B Building garage still hasn't been cleaned for over 15 years now.
