Despite the fact that talented people are increasingly leaving GEHC, there are still a lot of talented people here with great and innovative ideas. However, their voices are not heard enough here.
That’s my personal impression, and I think there are a lot of those who would agree? Talented people are encouraged to take their ideas somewhere else and that is a big red flag for the future of this company.

I agree. They've even managed to hire exactly the same kind of backwards thinking people during the reorg. I'm biding my time. Make some hay and find another farm.
That was my experience at GEHC exactly. They brought me in to bring my experience from the world outside of GE, in an effort to create change & a new viewpoint to generate new ways of looking at the same problems. Once I was there and began to suggest new ideas & think outside of the GE box, I was met with an overwhelming amount of "that's not how we do things here." After a couple years, I realized that they were trying to change ME, not themselves. I left & am much happier now.
