Has anyone heard how far the company will cut if we lose the line 5 battle with Michigan? Will the cuts just be in liquids or will it affect everybody (specifically in gas distribution).

If you are Canadian, if you’re an American employee you have to be employed on the last Friday of February otherwise no STIP.
Oh, and if you quit before January 1, 2022, you forfeit your STIP. You must be employed into 2022 to qualify.
Assuming "stick" is an autocorrected "STIP".
If you're fired before Jan 1, 2022, with cause, no STIP for you.
If you're fired after Jan 1, 2022 with cause I'm not sure, but if I recall correctly you are paid the 2021 STIP.
If you're laid off, STIP (both earned and potential) are part of the offer calculation.
What happens to your stick when you quit or get fired
Company is hiring like crazy tons of job postings.. Things are looking great for us here.. I am feeling really happy and secure here. I would never leave unless I was fired.
Line 5 will not be shut done. Capitalism wins.....
The Company is not known for containing layoffs to just the BU impacted. It tends to target the lowest performers across the enterprise.
It would be a deep cut to revenues if it actually happened. However, this is one battle I think Enbridge will ultimately win. And I'm usually a pessimist about these things.
Cuts will resonate farther than you can imagine at this point.
Gas sector will be affected also.
