If you look at the returns of QTL, yes lawyers are way more important than any engineer… lawyers have given Qualcomm better returns over the last ten years than any engineer! Lawyer are the only reason that Qualcomm still exist today.

I remember Marisol… Amazon wanted to buy it and Qualcomm wanted a subscription model to use it… It would appear Amazon won and in a big way
Qualcomm did partner w/ monzilla back in the days and tried to make an OS for cell phones but was too late to the game….. it’s been a very long time since Qualcomm has come out with an innovative product… but as long as we keep on swinging hopefully good things will come
