I heard there is going to be a phone call this morning about some more stores closings. Did anyone else get the message yesterday that corporate was going to call a bunch of stores telling them if they are closing or not. I work at the store in Newburgh, NY

Phone calls. Meetings in breakrooms. Man, the level of fantasy grows higher and higher in these silly posts. Things are slow in mom's basement TODAY? Xbox not working? I am the tooth fairy too, you Know.
They called about us needing to use the Breakroom for more meetings.
I doubt they are calling to say "you are not closing".
I just posted a minute ago. I work in the Avenel Kmart and we have a meeting at 1PM today in the breakroom, but no one knows what it's about.
We NEVER have meetings in the breakroom... he always just gathers us up by customer service to go over things if anything needs to be said to us all (very rarely...). This is strange indeed. I know what everyone's thinking, but I hope it isn't that...
Yes they called my mother, but because she lives in upper Michigan the reception on her cell phone was really bad so wasn't sure what they were saying.
