VMware names Raghu Raghuram next CEO, preannounces upbeat earnings
If Raghu was the right choice, the market would approve.
If the board was smart, and Raghu was the right choice, they had two pieces of information
to release that would boost the stock. Why release two good news items at one time?
The only upside of selecting Raghu as the CEO is that Sanjay didn't get the job.
Sanjay would have be decidedly worse.
But, Raghu isn't a good choice at all.
The answer is absolutely no!
Obviously Poonen though he had a shot too - given he’s now “leaving for personal reasons”
