We all know that Chicago Ridge has closed but someone keeps asking about them to see if they are open. Is there anything that can be done so we don't see this same question regarding Chicago Ridge on every post on here?

I talked with Corporate. They said the easiest and quickest thing to do is no longer visit thelayoff website.

Have you never heard the saying, "Don't feed the trolls"? If everyone ignored it, it would stop because it's obviously someone in need of attention.
This whole board should just be deleted. It's dead & nearly every post is just trolling into the void
If someone thinks they bought a TV at Chicago Ridge, let them enjoy their hallucination. Sorry it put you in a downward spiral of confusion, worry, insomnia, and general loss of well being. Perhaps buying a goldfish would get your mind off of your obsession with an old defunct retail store somewhere in Illinois. Really sad actually.
At least I do not obsess over one location and I talk about others
There's nothing "confusing" about it. It closed on May 2 along with several other stores that people aren't constantly re-asking about. It is no longer on either the Sears.com Store Locator or SB360's page.
That and the idi0t with the elevator videos. Very annoying.
Maybe we should all do a better job accurately reporting store closings & openings on this page. A while back someone said Hamilton, MT & Marshall, MI Kmarts were closing & that was NOT true. I think the real problem is the reporting of fake news in the form of store closings.
With that said, is Chicago Ridge open? Closing? Or already closed? Someone said they were closed, but then someone said they just bought a TV there? So how can that be if they are closed? I think the back and forth on Chicago Ridge has been very confusing.
Also calling Chicago Ridge and not getting an answer on the phone isn't a validation they are permanently closed because calling my local Wal-Mart & Best Buy they never answer their phones either.
