Thread regarding Sears layoffs

What will you do after your store closes?

It was always on my mind that I would definitely have to look for a new job after my store closes, so I decided to try to find something better before that.
It was very scary for me to think that the store would close and that I would not be able to find a new job for a long time after that.
Colleagues that stayed mostly do not have any special plans what to do after, I guess they decided to go with the flow.

My store closed last year. I still break down and cry every month when that date passes. R.i.P. good friend Kmart.

I'll do what Kool and the Gang told me to do and Celebrate good times, come on!

I was in Chicago Ridge this morning and bought a 65” TV, a nice set of tools, and brand new washer and dryer. Nice place!

Yes, Chicago Ridge is alive and well. I bought a vacuum cleaner there last night. Plenty of stock.

Plenty of people living and working in Chicago Ridge. As far as any of their stores closing you’d have to ask ‘em but more than likely it’s the same scenario as anywhere else.

Has anyone talked to the employees of Chicago Ridge? Do any of them know if the store is closing? I can't get ahold of anyone there.

I have my doubts that anyone still actually employed by the company is posting here anymore except for Eddie and his paid shill. There were a couple of executives who were absolutely trashing Eddie before, during, and after the bankruptcy which was circulated in IT, but no one ever felt the need to report it up because everyone thought the Wizard of Oz was an absolute tool. It's amusing to see a poster who was obviously Eddie guess the names here like Mark, Brian, Chris, and others, and he got at least one of the names right. He really does breed a lot of contempt.

Nothing, because I don't have a store. I'm just a retail connoisseur and neutral observer.
