From your leaders/managers

Heard on Monday that Return to Premises at Woodcreek will transition from "organic" to "mandatory" in the August/September timeframe. Going into work 2-3 days a week will be the norm for most people. 9/80 supposedly not affected, but I somehow doubt that.
All of the spoiled work from home advocates can go to he-l. Get your self back to work.
Hopefully they do hire remote workers so they can steal whatever trade secrets they can get a hold of and so that they can help their hacker cousins bring down more gas pipelines. Good luck trying to prosecute someone working in India or Asia smart executive managers!
My co-worker is remote working from sunny Croatia coast!
This. This. This. This. This.
“Obviously if you can work from home, someone can telecommute from se Asia to do your job.”
They are already looking at this. Pandemic forced a test case. Cost savings are like crack to shell executives.
Obviously if you can work from home, someone can telecommute from se Asia to do your job. In fact, they trained those people to do your job while you were screwing around “investing” on your company’s time and yelling at people to “stay inside!” so that you could do it.
Time to pay the piper. Did you really think you won the lottery?
Go get a retail job before unemployment assigns you one.
Are there more layoffs in the near future?
Tell people to get there as--s back to the office or they are fired. No hybrid bs either. There are plenty of people, highly qualified people, who would gladly commute for your job.
Shell has gone fully woke, and is in a death spiral. Competent delivery is not rewarded, even more, it's an impediment. As business shrinks, politicians will hang on, and be the last to leave the place.
Why would anyone work hard anymore - either from office or home ? So it does not really matter ...
Yep, after a lot of frankly honest assessments by mid-management the effectiveness and efficiency levels have dropped too much for the 2022 plan (UA Upsteam). More losses coming. Concern though about what to do about mandating in office presence and whether the “right” people will return and be productive.
