What is the difference between a great employer and not so great? Simple, in times of need when there is a crisis, how do great companies respond? How did CBRE respond? Sulentic decided to lay off employees while other companies retained them. In the future if one is seeking a great company who cares about their "human assets", go somewhere other than CBRE.

Yup. CB laid off many terrific employees during the past year to keep their corporate profits. Execs and managers don’t care much about their people.
I believe they’re now trying to hire cheaper new employees instead of getting former laid off employees back to their jobs. Saving money by paying less.
