The situation has really become unbearable. I'm looking for a new option but I only got one job offer that isn't much better than this one here. Without getting a much better option, it’s not worth leaving this place and thus missing out on the money I’d get, so I’d most like to get laid off. I believe I am not the only one.

If you’re waiting for a RIF, then you should have your resume updated now and be actively interviewing. You will thank yourself. And If you are connected with anyone who has left, you will see there is much better out there. The market is hot. Take advantage of it.
