I have never been more productive than in the past year or so. Working from home has been a godsend for me. It freed up nearly two hours in my day spent driving to work and back to spend with my family/relax/do the things I love. This improved my mental health and made me more focused - I actually started enjoying my work again! And now they want me back in the office next month? I don't think I can do that again. There are plenty of remote jobs available right now and I'm considering applying.

I started talking to other lenders in October. I found out that most of the other larger lenders had Perm WFH positions for my role prior to COVID. I took a position with another lender. After 15 years at Chase leaving was a giant relief. Between the inept managers, dysfunctional technology, office politics, and overly aggressive racial agenda it has become very stressful to work at Chase. Sad that I will not see many of my coworkers again, but happy to have moved on. My advice is for everyone to go on at least 3 interviews a year. It helps you see what is happening in the industry and you network with hiring managers. If you ever get laid off you will have a list of hiring managers to call.
Get ready they are asking for volunteers right now since they want all to go back in mid July. I’m in Shoc Phoenix. And it seems if you want to wfh apply to UW they are staying home
I agree Ops people are a dime for every 200. You should quit and let a Freshie join
I mean you’re Just another replaceable employee, you leave and another new hire will fill your role so should they care about you ?
dimon doesn't care what you like or think. this is about his ego to control and get bigger. we are just a number to him.
I hate wfh. I am happy to go back to the office but I understand. Lots of remote work if that's what you want to do. It's not for me.
At the end of the day THIS IS YOUR LIFE! We're getting hybrid options few days wfh and few in office as this isn't exclusive only to management anymore. Agreed, overall morale is up and so is productivity and for me I learned to rely on myself and trust my instincts, personal growth amazing for me. Anywhere you go you'll get this, just plan properly, save visciously, change your mindset, and have your end date - this way when you're ready to make changes you'll be prepared.
