I left this company a few years ago. Judging by what I heard from a former colleague, regardless of my experience, it would not have been nice at all if I had stayed here because of the gray ceiling. It’s not much different in the company I’m in now either.
I wonder what percentage of 50+ people are in Dell now?

I left Dell in 2018 but will say this I was with Dell from 2010 to 2014 the first time back in 2015. When we got let go I was 60, someone must have sued them for age discrimination because each of us laid off got a letter from Dell that lasted BY NAME all those laid off and their ages and of the 250 on my list all but ten were over the age of 56. So agesim is alive and well at Dell believe me. If you some lab rat you may escape the ax but if your out on the line selling and making money for the company grey hair to Micheal "I am a God" Dell means your expendable and out.
my group is full of them. All developers doing well and making a good product.
