I completely agree with your comment on having a significant amount of turnover. This is leaving us with some folks who are less experienced and maybe a bit underqualified. In the Bard days, it was doing more with less and the compensation reflected this. Bard paid for experienced talent, BD pays for more bodies.
I also think that trying to be a politically correct organization is not conducive to promoting the best people. This inclusive, diverse, ESG and social strategy is distracting, but it seems many companies want to be focused on the latest thinking.
I’m more concerned with the architecture work-stream. Architecture = plant closure. Closing plants in order to drive revenue is not employee friendly, but I guess it part of the BD way.
I will be leaving BD January 2022 to Join a company that is less political and more about delivery of high quality product focused on driving revenue and earnings.
