Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

Curious

Why did your beloved ceo leave just 2 weeks before scheduled Q1 earnings ? He knows what the numbers are already. They must not be very shiny. NCF probably never changed after fraudulent bankruptcy.

dl will have plenty of free time after tomorrow. i hope he takes a few minutes to read through all of these posts, to realize how truly despised he was as a leader and as a human being. His millions can't buy back his reputation. I hope the horrible leaders in completions and drilling are experiencing the same level of anxiety the rest of us have dealt with for the last decade.

Are they going to let go of the mid level management club? How about the managers demoted to advisors and sent out to the pasture?

Oh yeah. There ain’t no way he left on his own. That was a forced resignation. Now will come other executives that will be resigning. The bad part is the packages that they will be walking away with. They have bled the company dry on the backs of overworked employees and then they still get millions to ride off with.

No way he deserved to be given the chance to “resign” to save face. Should’ve been fired and escorted off campus.

If you think he left by choice you're a fool.

Same VPs pushing projects with manipulated numbers. You can only keep the lipstick on a pig for so long.
