While I'll agree that a "leaked e-mail" is likely a bunch of cr-p, I won't entirely dismiss it. The sale of Plastics was all of bunch of long said rumors until an accidently prematurely released website confirmed it a little over a week before it was officially announced. Due to the rapid e-mail chatter that went like wildfire, GE was informed about the mistake. All of a sudden, Poof! that website magically disappeared within hours of the e-mail going out from the first person who announced the discovery of that website. In case any of you don't know what I'm talking about, there used to be this place called GE Plastics and it was sold off when 40% profitability was deemed to not be good enough. Even if there are no layoff this Wednesday and there likely won't be, it doesn't mean anybody is out of the woods yet. You'd be a fool to breathe a sigh of relief. Unfortunately, when a real layoff does occur, you won't see it coming and it'll happen so rapidly your head will still be spinning weeks later.
A leaked email I call bu-----t. This post looks suspect to begin with, it’s always a leaked email, the guy who is doing these posts isn’t putting much effort into them at this point. You know after the 100th time you say layoff and it doesn’t happen you lose the tiny bit of credibility you may have had. Please try harder it’s pathetic at this point.
