Like is there something different or a process that happens the longer you work here. It looks like all those feel good feeling that make us human are replaced with robotic actions that lack decency and kindness and are filled with disclaimers. The paranoia is so high here about being sued that it’s all ridiculous that sometimes I wonder if some of the folks are cyborgs lol. Anybody feel the same way?

Absolutely, that's the culture EM raves about. Toxicity, narcism, fake smiles and backstabbing, are necessary to survive here, and will likely be rewarded with management roles. It eats you and changes you slowly into toeing the line. Those with a decent heart, high personal ethics-values and refuse to be part of the system are marked rebellious, not a good culture fit and are eventually mobbed and set up to fail. Toxic environment.
It is the culture. Only 5hit floats up in the org. So to float upwards you need to become sh–.
