Is there any vision at all or have they totally lost direction? The worst thing for me is when they pretend that they actually know what they are doing. I doubt very much that they know where this company is going. I would love to be wrong.
I don’t remember the last time any reasonable and good move was made. I see only destructive decisions being made.

You don't need to read between the lines to see what the future of Altice looks like. Lack of equipment, vehicles, management, supervisors, lack of advancement, dwindling in-house presence and increased contractor usage, that alone should say it all. I left the company after being there for well over a decade and it was easily one of the best decisions I could have made. If you want my opinion? Start looking for a career elsewhere. It's only a matter of time before they force everyone else out.
I wish you all the best I can see the writing on the wall trucks being sold , no management, no HR , contractors are doing better than us I will be leaving shortly I can’t wait to walk out with my head high knowing I did everything possible to save my job, I cared about my customers and my company. However there is no future here. I am in the he process of a lining up a better life
This is it just ride it till the wheel falls off It’s a dead industry I can’t wait to leave
I was hired 9/2018 and laid off 5/12/2020. I’m very bitter but I believe for a good reason. I worked out of Piscataway office. Came from an 8 year cable background at Comcast/Xfinity before starting at Optimum in September 2018. I was productive my last 12 months after I learned there equipment and setup. I finished top 5 to 10 handful of months and #1 I think 3 times. Only trying show that I was definitely productive not some s–t bird.
But still got laid off why? Is it because there whole fiber to the home was failing miserably and making nothing near to how much they put into? Remember that BS that whole entire department of techs that laterally moved to build that fiber plant. And the Coronavirus was the perfect excuse for them Frenchies to layoff workers. I think so .Cause they’re laying people off but yet techs still had 7 and even 8 jobs on their route everyday including me till the end. LIKE w-f FRENCHIES ? Sucks I never got to work under the Dolan ownership because I heard that guy at least cared unlike this Altice my service is garbage but give us more money and what are you gonna do about it.
Last good move?? The Dolans putting 17B in their pockets!
Contractors are better equipped because that has been the Altice vision since day one; 100% contractor labor. They have made 0 effort to retain any sort of positive working relationship with their in house employees because they’re trying to force everyone out. If they cared at all about quality of service, things would not be the way they are right now but here we are. You can gO uNiOn! All you want, it’s not going to make a difference. The only “good moves” Altice has made don’t benefit anyone but them. Can’t polish a t–d.
They had a guy sweep the parking lot because he reported an overdue vehicle inspection. Says everything about those 2.
Their not there
Just saying
Altice is a joke........ they supply their contractors better than they supply there trained field ops.
And they wonder why repeats are so damn high,
This company bites off its nose to spite there face
last good move? Me taking a package last May. :)
