Thread regarding ADP layoffs

Excess Headcount Capacity Reduction

SEC filings show layoffs (excess headcount capacity reduction) are not only still underway, but planned ongoing for the future outlook.

This place is a miserable place to work. I have got to get out of here. This is no way to live.

ADP management is the worst I have ever seen anywhere.

@8fzn+1a7QUtn1 - I am afraid you didn't read things correctly. ADP definitely has plans for continued layoffs (excess headcount capacity reduction / transformations). Yes, there is mention of technology transformation initiatives as well but you clearly missed the message about costs incurred for planned "transformations" of personnel for "strategic reasons" (i.e. - hire cheap inexperienced replacements and get rid of talent to save money).

You are right. Nothing at all for you to worry about. It is all scare tactics. No one has been laid off and more layoffs are not planned. Life is good at ADP. You should feel safe AND secure. Is that better?

I read the last 10Q. The discussion on excess headcount capacity reduction was past tense- it was used as an explanation for why certain expenses were reduced. They did not indicate headcount capacity reductions are planned for future. Moreover, the transformation efforts affect digital transformation as well as procurement - not necessarily headcount related. He/She is right, this is a lot of scare tactics.

@2kpc+1a7QUtn1 - you really expect ADP to explicitly spell out (for you) every single person they intend to layoff? You think any company does that? You think no unfounded layoffs have occurred? You think no more layoffs will occur? You really believe anyone there that says "your job is safe?" You think it can't happen to you?

Got news for you - clearly you aren't thinking!

Read the last published 10Q. I don't need to prove anything to you. Discussion of excess headcount capacity reduction and transformation efforts is in there pretty clearly.

Oh, an the little "unflattering" comment - that was immature.

Which specific filings are you referring to? The "latest" filings are a bunch of Form 4s for insider trades - then the 13G, a 10Q and an 8K back in January. There is nothing in these filings about layoffs or headcount reductions. Scare tactics are unflattering.
