Thread regarding Frontier Communications Corp. layoffs

You're better off doing nothing

This is why you are at a huge advantage if you do nothing. Those who do a “good job” that is recognized and documented, are easily outsourced. But those of us who do nothing, therefore having no record of what we do, will remain on the full time employment roll because management does not know how to document and train a contract employee how to do nothing. Before you write this off as a joke, give it some serious consideration. It worked for me for over four decades. Retired with a huge pension and 401, and was never laid off.

Good advice, @orc+1a645U4T. More people should read this and take it to heart.

That boy Cletus has been pretty quiet all of a sudden, wheres the rallying at now? Coordinating red shirts couldnt get the deal done I guess, truly shocking. I'm sure any day now we will hear "we have got them right where we want them" while the union member stand outside to collect $200/week holding signs while in the back of their minds they debate how long they can hold out. Hope it is all worth it to you and your families because you wanted to be union strong.

This is ignorant advice.....if you think ALL management does not know how to train for your job you are ill-informed. Good luck doing this. You will be outsourced if they deem it necessary, has nothing to do with if it is documented.
