I'm wondering if the major round of layoffs is scheduled for April? I've heard a few people say it's most likely going to happen next month but they're not high enough to know for sure (unless they have a source I don't know about, which is possible.) I've prepared myself the best I could in case I'm affected, but that doesn't help with the wait-induced anxiety.

Generally there's redundancy that could lead to layoffs anytime there's a reorg. My guess is there will be some stealth layoffs in May. As the year progresses and the supply chain can't deliver there will a karger one in mid summer or September. Watch for expenses and budgets to be tightened soon. Price increases July 2.
Out the door by end of June. Another round out the door by end if October
Confirmed!
No layoffs anytime soon.
I would be anxious if I was 55+ and could not get a payoff.

I don't like chump change at all - he's trying his hand at trolling me, since I've always been anti-lenovo culture, and he's been trolling Americans at different angles for over a year now. I'm bored so I decided to respond. I know it clouds the issue, and doesn't help anything, so I apologize to people trying to get information about layoffs. The past couple of months, I've treated this place like reddit, but I have to say, It's been fun.

Sometimes a nice kick in the complacency is the best thing they can do for you. And hopefully a nice severance package.
Meanwhile.

Best ever financial results.
Share price at a 7 year high.
If your getting let go. Take it. Be happy.
Wait induced anxiety.
Ask to be made redundant and go get another job.
Layoffs.
Less than 0.1 of the company.
Boo hoo.
Correction- March 31st is the end of Lenovo’s fiscal year, not Q1. Even more likely it will be in April.
When 1st quarter reports are out. Last year, it was the 3rd week in April.
Same time every year - layoffs end of May, last day end of June. Obviously speculating here, there MIGHT NOT BE any this year - but if there are, that’s when they’ll be.
