I wasted 16 years at Cummins, didn’t know it was a waste of time until I moved on.
Rolls Royce Aerospace in Indy has several people who left Cummins. No routine RIFS, downsizing, restructuring, global plant closures, non-citizen or work-visa drama.
I encourage anyone looking for a move from Cummins to apply today!

When I got "laid off" in Dec 2016 after 16 years of Cummins BS, Rolls Royce was one of the places in which I was interested, but ended up taking a different route. However, I got to remain in Columbus with a slight commute and an immediate pay raise of 25% over what Cummins was paying me, now work with a 100% American workforce with no chance of being outsourced or replaced by an H1B (not allowed here), and job security....never ever looking back.
I left Cummins after 10 years for Rolls Royce Aerospace. The differences were immediate.
I agree with everything said here, but just wanted to add the benefits package. The benefits at Rolls Royce Aerospace is unlike anything at Cummins. I have several colleagues here who defected from Cummins for similar reasons and embraced a superior company.
Someone told me to look at Rolls Royce also, I wish I would have done that early in my career.
