Thread regarding Commscope Inc. layoffs

Quality no longer matters?

In fact, it wasn’t particularly important even when I first came here, but in the meantime it became less and less important.

I hate working in a company that sells software of substandard quality. I mean, I’m ashamed.

Quality should be an imperative, at least I think so and don’t understand why standards are constantly being lowered.

"The might not be enough folk to do the work but there's no shortage of folk to manage them"

Agreed...there are a ton of Directors and Sr. Directors. Seems like those titles are handed out like candy.

Ah, some sort of filter to avoid certain words online. Guess AI can't interpret context. Maybe someone can provide a list of allowable spoken/written words before we're all sent off to camps.

That post should say "k–ling employees by not...". Weird that it didn't upload correctly.

Not sure what location/product you work on. If you are part of L-ARRIS, all teams have been decimated and working 24/7 still doesn't allow time to complete required projects. CommScope is literally k–ling employees by not providing sufficient resources to complete work. I'm assuming management is waiting for employees to leave on their own so they don't have to fork over measly layoff packages. They might want to care about health-related lawsuits instead. Every penny counts for the c-suite vultures. Maybe they could ditch the phony Pulse survey where some group of semi-satisfied workers provide high enough ratings to obliterate any negative data they don't want to acknowledge. Surely that would save some cash.
